Platform Type
A mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive attribute based on size or features of the system on which the Item is installed, mounted or carried. This attribute is standardized across all Market Types.

| Manportable | Equipment designed to be carried by a warrior. |
| Missile | A flight-capable weapon containing its own propulsion and designed for self and target destruction on impact or by some trigger mechanism. |
| Multiple | Items having common usage or application for or on, multiple platforms. |
| Precision Guided Weapon | A category that includes PGMs and PGWs. |
| Ship | Surface vessels (self-propelled). |
| Space Launch Vehicle | Vehicles used for the propelling platforms into outer space. |
| Space Systems | Platforms designed for Space operations or travel. |
| Submarine | Undersea vessels (self-propelled). |
