Platform & Equipment Profiles

This section demonstrates how to:

• Use the Platform/Equipment widget to search for a profile
• Use the Latest Profile widget to gain access to the most recent profiles
  
  

This video demonstrates how you can explore the technical specifications of your chosen platform, in this example the F-35, using Jane platform and equipment profiles.

Using the Platform / Equipment widget to search for a profile

The Platform / Equipment widget provides quick links to the latest updates for a particular platform or piece of equipment and also enables you to identify platforms and equipment associated with specific countries. You can also access profiles via the main search bar, see "Searching and Filtering" for more detailed help.

Start by choosing your country of manufacture or by beginning to type your chosen platform or piece of equipment into the "Filter by Platform" box.

A list of results will then be displayed within the widget.

Simply click on the blue link to be directed to the full equipment profile.

Accessing the latest profiles

The Latest Profiles widget enables you to access the most recently updated profiles, to ensure you are up to date with the latest developments in defence equipment and technology.

The most recent updates are listed in the widget to provide an "at a glance" view. To refine the results shown, use the drop down menu to select your country of choice.

To access a profile, simply click on the blue link to be taken directly to the full profile.
