Forecast Types
Total Program
The sum of R&D, Production, Services and SLS forecasts. All of the dollar values have the P(Go) factor applied, unless you have turned off the P(Go) in the charting interface settings, then you will get the numbers at full (or 100% value).
R&D Only
The value of the research and development (R&D) revenue forecast multiplied by the P(Go), unless it has been turned off in the charting interface settings, in which case the numbers will be at 100%.
Production Only
The value of the production of the revenue, which is Production Units X Unit Price X P(Go). If the P(Go), in the charting interface setting has been turned off, the dollar value will just be determined by the Production Units X Unit Price.
SLS (Supplier Logistics Support) Only
An estimate of the value of Initial Spares, Sustaining Spares and Documentation related to the item being forecast. Our SLS forecast is calculated on an item-by-item basis using the following factors; inventories, attribution rates, annual deliveries, initial spares and sustaining spares estimates, documentation estimates, customer budgets and item use.
Production Units
The Units being delivered for that year over the forecast period. Units are not factored by P(Go)
Services ONLY
The value of the service-related sales forecast multiplied by P(Go). Our Services forecasts are based on reported and expected service contracts relating to training, equipment maintenance/modification/repair, provisioning, operational and technical services.
R&D and Production
A combination of both the R&D and Production dollars. (See above for the definition of each)
Total Program w/o Services
The sum of R&D, Production, and SLS forecasts. All of the dollar values have the P(Go) factor applied, unless you have turned off the P(Go) in the charting interface settings, then you will get the numbers at full (or 100% value). (The services value/revenue is removed from this view).
Total Program w/o SLS
The sum of R&D, Production, and Services forecasts. All of the dollar values have the P(Go) factor applied, unless you have turned off the P(Go) in the charting interface settings, then you will get the numbers at full (or 100% value). (The SLS value/revenue is removed from this view)
